TWO OF Beethoven’s greatest works will be performed by The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, with the concert broadcast live to The Eye Cinema, Wellpark.
The orchestra, under Dutch conductor Bernard Haitink, along with German violinist Isabelle Faust, will perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major, and the melodic, atmospheric, Symphony No 6 in F major. Also known as the ‘Pastoral’ symphony, Beethoven described is as being “impressions of nature”.
