Claire Watts launches new EP

DREAMING OUT Loud, the new EP by contemporary folk singer-songwriter Claire Watts, will be launched with a gig upstairs in the Róisín Dubh this Saturday.

Originally from Lackagh, Claregalway, and now living in Miltown Malbay, Claire is a traditional flute and fiddle player and music teacher, who works in the Clare Arts Office Embrace Arts and Disability programme.

Dreaming Out Loud however sees Claire turn her attention to songwriting, with a collection focused on love, loss, and home, including ‘Angels Roost’, a song about her young son. It features musicians Josephine Marsh, Mick Kinsella, Sharon Howley, Peadar Tomelty, Martin O’Malley, Danny Byrt, Shona Blake, and Gerry Hegarty.

Doors are at 9pm. Admission is €10 and includes a free signed copy of the EP. See clairewatts.ie
