Karen Egan to play Monroe’s Live

KAREN EGAN, a former barrister-at law and former member of comedy trio The Nualas, now a musician, songwriter, and theatre-maker, is about to tour Ireland.

Egan’s tour is in support of her new album Charlatanne and the tour includes a date at Monroe’s Live on Saturday February 28 at 8.30pm. Charlatanne sees Egan explore hip-hop, pop, jazz, country, French ballad, blue-grass, and gospel, with lush strings and sassy brass arrangements. Live, this songs will be performed with accompanying costume changes and comedic interludes.

Currently based in Finland, she works with the Rakastajat-teatteri theatre company and is about the premiere her first play, written in English and translated to Finnish, about an Irish person in Finland.
