VALENTINE’S WEEKEND at HALO will be a mix of 1990s fun and nostalgia and the intriguing pairing of a DJ and a saxophonist.
The popular 1990s tribute band Smash Hits play tomorrow night so expect to hear hit songs from the decade by Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, House of Pain, Take That, Spice Girls, Prodigy, and Snap. Cafolla and Engel play on Saturday. The duo have impressed with their mix of Cafolla’s DJ sets, taking in house, funk, and r’n’b, and saxophonist Chris Engel, who has enjoyed an active career in the house, electronic, and dance scene.
