I’m a boy but my mom won’t admit it

IS HE masculine? Is he feminine? Is he straight or is he gay? He’s not sure, and it’s hard when his mother wants to treat her growing boy as a little girl.

French comedy film, Me, Myself, and Mum, a hit at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, will be shown by the Galway Film Society in the Town Hall Theatre this Sunday at 8pm.

The film is the directorial debut of comedian Guillaume Gallienne, based on his one-man play, recalling his youth among the upper class and his ambiguous affinity with his mother, who raised him as more of a daughter than a son, insisting he is gay despite Guillaume’s uncertainty.

Tickets are available from the Town Hall through 0-91 - 59677 or www.tht.ie
