NASHVILLE BASED country singer-songwriter Pete Kennedy plays Monroe’s Live this Sunday at 8pm as part of his I Am The One world tour.
Kennedy, who is originally from Offaly, has become a fixture on the Nashville scene, performing at the city’s annual CMA Music Festival, at its legendary Bluebird Café, and on the ABC television show Nashville. His album The Nashville Session Vol.1 saw him take both Album of the Year and Song of the Year at the 2012 BCMA Awards.
Kennedy’s musical influences include The Eagles, Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris, and Garth Brooks. He has toured with Neil Sedaka and The Stylistics and worked with Earl Budd Lee (Garth Brooks ), Jan Buckingham (Lee Greenwood, Whitney Houston ), Beau Fuller (Kristy Lee Cook, Jesse Keith Whitley ) and American Idol and Grand Ole Opry star Ayla Brown.
