The first documentary of its kind, it was shot at night in various locations across Galway, both indoors and outdoors, and focuses on more than 20 Galway dance schools. It features world champion dancers and amateurs.

Galway Bailando will be officially launched on Valentine’s Day, Saturday February 14, in the Galway Commercial Boat Club, Woodquay, at 8pm. There will be music from Latin band La Orquesta Las Kalamares; DJs playing genres of dance music represented in the video; a brief showcase of the documentary, and behind the scenes photos.

“We want to make this Valentine’s launch party an unforgettable dance night,” says producer Niall O’Floinn, “and a unique chance to meet and dance with the best of Galway's dance stars all in the one place.”
