THE BALDONNEL Singers will perform a fundraising concert, in aid of Domestic Violence Response, in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, on Saturday February 7 at 8pm.
Founded in 2003 and directed by David Lanigan, the Baldonnel Singers have performed at Farmleigh House and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. The choir, which numbers more than 30, performs opera choruses, musical standards, and Irish favourites.
Based in Oughterard, Domestic Violence Response is a community led organisation responding to the needs of women and children subjected to violence and abuse in the home.
Support is from the Cois Cladaigh choir. Tickets are available at the door for €15/10.
