DAVID MCSAVAGE, the ‘enfant terrible’ of Irish comedy, makes a welcome return to the Róisín Dubh on Friday February 6 at 8.30pm as part of his Don’t Give Up tour.
David's satirical TV show, The Savage Eye has won a slew of awards and poked fun at sacred cows like Joe Duffy, Pat Kenny, the Catholic church, and every single politician out there, as well as creating memorable characters like Mick The Bull and Fr Finnegan.
An accomplished actor, McSavage recently starred in the hit movie Calvary alongside Brendan Gleeson. He is currently in rehearsals for Martin McDonagh’s upcoming production The Pillowman which has its world premier at Galway’s Town Hall Theatre next month.
