THE FIRST Over The Edge: Open Reading of 2015 takes place in the Galway City Library on Thursday January 22 from 6.30pm to 8pm, with writers Liz Quirke, Michelle Coyne, and Paula Cunningham.
An Spidéal’s Liz Quirke has had her poems published in Southword, The Stony Thursday Book, The Galway Review, Revival Literary Journal, and Skylight 47. She won the 2012 Edmund Spenser Poetry Competition.
Belfast based dentist Paula Cunningham writes drama and short fiction and her first full-length poetry collection, Heimlich's Manoeuvre (2013 ), was shortlisted for the Fenton-Aldeburgh, Seamus Heaney Centre, and Strong Shine First Collection prizes.
Galway’s Michelle Coyne has had short stories published in Ropes, Crannóg, wordlegs, and Silver Apples.
