Digital leaders convene in Galway for west of Ireland’s first digital summit

The Irish Times, Newstalk, and Tourism Ireland are big brands and household names to many. They are among the companies which have successfully negotiated the digital age. Have you ever wondered how they did it, and continue to do so? Well now you can find out.

The first ever digital summit for Galway will put faces to the heads of digital at these companies and those who are engaging at the cutting edge of digital every day.

Among those speaking on the night will be Aidan Coughlan of Newstalk, Hugh Linehan of The Irish Times, Brian Harte of Tourism Ireland, and Stephen O’Leary of Olytico social media monitoring and analysis firm.

More speakers will be announced in the coming days. These will each give a speech at the summit and also offer their thoughts on the future of digital.

There will be a very lively panel discussion with questions and answers, and a tweet wall where questions can be submitted in advance using the hashtag #omigsummit.

Many companies are also exhibiting on the night so people are encouraged to arrive early and visit all the digital related stands.
