The Dyke Road is to be closed off from today until February 5 - but only during the evening and night - to facilitate the laying of a new ESB cable.
From 7pm to 7am each night from now until early February, the road will be closed from the junction of the Menlo Road to the entrance to the Black Box, so that the ESB can lay a 110kv cable.
An alternative route will be available through the Headford Road R866/N6 and other alternative routes will be via signposted diversion routes. Local access will be maintained at all times.
