One of the highlights of the athletics road race season takes place on St Stephen’s Day in Athenry.
At 11am, the 11th running of the Fields of Athenry 10km will take place.
If you did not get you entry in, then join the festivities in Athenry. Organisers expect 1500 entrants in what is always a highly competitive event, with Irish internationals Mick Clohisey and Eilish Kelly the current title holders.
