THE AMAZING Apples, one of Galway’s finest and most popular bands, play a concert in HALO on Tuesday December 23.
The fock-rock/Americana quintet, whose sound is driven by bouzouki, mandolin, acoustic guitars, and the fiddle, have seen their profile rise throughout 2014. They played the Indiependence and Sugarbeat festivals and released their second single ‘Slipping By’, which reached No 1 on the iTunes downloads charts.
The Apples are currently recording their first full length album in Grouse Lodge with producer Joe Chester (The Coronas, Ryan Sheridan, Hermitage Green ). It will be released in early 2015.
