GUITARS, VIOLINS, voices, and saxophones will be heard in the Galway City Museum when The ConTempo Quartet host a concert of classical and Christmas music.
The concert takes place this Saturday from 11am to 1pm and will see performances by ConTempo, the Brennan-Cahill Saxophone-Piano Duo, The Elwood Guitar Quartet, and Bel Canto.
The Elwood Guitar Quartet - Michael Clarke, Katie Neville, Marc Oliver, and Radek Lomejko - formed in 2013 at Maynooth University with the aim to display the diverse capabilities of the guitar within the setting of chamber music.
Bel Canto are sopranos Delia Boyce, Hildegarde Naughton, and Sandra Schalks, whose repertoire includes classical, operatic, music-theatre, Irish, and popular songs. The Brennan-Cahill Saxophone-Piano Duo are Gavin Brennan and Aileen Cahill.
Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
