DRUM’N’BASS, dubstep, and different permutations of techno will be heard when DJs Zenji, Phunty, and Teknonotice hit the decks in The Cellar Bar this Saturday.
Zenji plays dubstep, but with an unusual twist in that melody is the prime focus. “The idea is to take the attention off drops and bring it more into the instruments and music itself,” he says. “However, multiple different drops and brutality is abundant, leaving melody to intertwine with it and result in an odd and interesting fusion.”
Teknonotice will play acid and funky techno, electro swing, and minimal techno, while Phunty will lay down heavy drum’n’bass mixes.
Doors are at 10pm. Admission is €5.
