ODDSOCKS, THE Dublin ‘rhythm and groove’ quartet are coming to Galway to play the downstairs bar of Kelly’s, Bridge Street, tomorrow at 10pm.
The band - Anthony Mannion (guitar/vocals ), Luke Mercer (guitar/vocals ), Michael Conefrey (bass/vocals ), and Eoghan O’Kelly (drums/vocals ) - are steeped in classic rock and a love of melody. Their sound is characterised by Hammond organ, funky guitars, stacked vocal harmonies, and vintage piano.
The band have gigged across Scotland, England, France and Holland as well as playing Electric Picnic, the Edinburgh Fringe, the Volvo Ocean Race, and the Sea Sessions. Admission to the Kelly’s show is free.
