NUI GALWAY will hold a Christmas concert in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church on Monday December 1 at 8pm, to raise funds for GamBLE.
There will be seasonal and sacred music and song from the NUI Galway Chamber Orchestra, the Galway Adult String Orchestra, and special guests the ConTempo String Quartet.
Founded in 2000, GamBLE (Gambia Building Links in Education ) endeavours to provide the children of Farato, Gambia, and the surrounding area with a quality education. It provides building projects, practical teaching skills, teaching materials, and funding.
