Oileain Árainn played impressive football and hit some top-class scores over Achill Island in the Connacht Club Junior Football Championship final last Sunday at Tuam Stadium, winning by 0-16 to 0-8.
They were the better team by far and led by 0-8 to 0-4 at half time. Some outstanding scores by Mairtin Gill, Eoin Pol and Cillian Connolly in the second half secured an historic success for the Oileain Arainn side.
The Galway and Connacht champions will face British champions John Mitchels in the All-Ireland quarter-final in Birmingham.
