Cappataggle win county and Connacht titles

Cappataggle won both the Galway county and Connacht intermediate hurling titles in 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday they defeated Ahascragh/Fohenagh in the replay of the Finnerty Plant Hire County Intermediate Hurling fnal by 0-19 to 1-8, before overcoming Ballyhaunis in Sunday’s Connacht decider by 0-15 to 1-10.
