SYRIAN WRITER Amani Maihoub will read her fiction at the launch of issue 37 of Galway based magazine Crannóg.
Maihoub was born in Tartous, Syria’s third largest city and an important port on the Mediterranean coast. She is currently on the staff of the Department of Humanities at the Universiteit Van Amsterdam.
The reading takes place at 6.30pm tomorrow [Friday October 31] in The Crane Bar, Sea Road. All are welcome and admission is free. See www.crannogmagazine.com
