Gary Thornton was the winner of the Moycullen Harvest Run, organised by the Juvenile Ladies Football Club.
Thornton crossed the line in a super time of 15.47 minutes, followed by Art Naughton (18.19 ) and Danny Carr (19.15 ).
The ladies’ winner was Esther O’Flaherty in 20.05 minutes, followed by Moycullen All Ireland minor star Katie Carter (21.44 ) with the club’s u-16 Connacht champion Ailbhe Davoren (23.03 ) in third, and also winner of the first u-16 girls’ prize.
The winners of the family/team category were local sporting family Aodh, Sadie, Daragh, Cillian and Aoife Davoren, followed in second place by Derek, Monica, Laura, Ashling and Conor Corcoran. James Cummins won the juvenille boys and Molly Hynes came in second in the u-16 girls.
