The Eskies to bring Musical Mayhem to Monroe’s

FROM SEA-soaked waltzes to Italian tarantella to brassy funeral march laments to Klezmer knees-up The Eskies do it all, and they bring theri eclectic approach to folk music to Musical Mayhem at Monroe’s Live this Friday October 3 at 9pm.

The band will perform songs from their forthcoming debut album After The Sherry Went Round, including the recent single, ‘Fever’, and new single ‘Jesus Don’t Save Me’, which is released on October 24, but the video for which is already proving a hit on YouTube.

The event also marks the fifth birthday of the Musical Mayhem nights, which were founded by singer-songwriter Mikey McCrory, leader of Mikey and the Scallywags, who are also on the bill. Other acts playing are indie-prog band My Fellow Sponges and brass band Big Jelly.
