GERMANY’S OKTOBERFEST celebrates beer, but Galway’s latest addition to the festival calendar - ROCKtoberfest - will celebrate music.
ROCKtoberfest is an indoor music festival which takes place in Monroe’s Live from Thursday October 9 to Sunday 12, with the Dominick Street venue playing host to 22 up-and-coming Irish acts.
The line-up is Rackhouse Pilfer, The Flaws, Wood Burning Savages, Leading Armies, RudytrixX, EDFT, The Quakers & Foreign Affairs, The Hard Ground, Cronin, Eoin Glackin, I’m Your Vinyl, Featuring X, Simeon Kirkaard, Youth Mass, White Chalk, The Rain, My Violet, Storyfold, Crossfire, Cornerboy, Love St, Gigabyte, and Stephen Young.
There will be weekend wristbands which entitle the wearer to full access to all shows, however only a limited number will be available through www.monroes.ie
