Galway athlete Neasa Canavan has secured a place in the Ironman World Championships which take place in Hawaii next year.
The Tuam-based physiotherapist came second in the recent Ironman Wales to qualify in her age category for the world event.
She was one of 15 membes from the Trilakes Triathlon Club to compete in Wales which is known to be the second toughest Ironmn in the world.
