The county minor A hurling final between the reigning champions Turloughmore and Loughrea is down for decision next Sunday at 12.30pm in Kenny Park, Athenry.
Nominations for hurling managers
Galway hurling clubs have being asked to submit nominations for the positions of Galway minor and u-21 hurling manager.
Both positions are now vacant, with the successful candidates being appointed on a two year term, with a review after the first year.
Nominations close next Monday, September 29 at 4pm.
Ladies final
The Galway Ladies Senior Football Chgampionship final ended all square - Corofin 2-08 Kilkerrin/Clonberne.
Claregalway and Clonbern-Moycullen minor ladies will face each other in this year’s Mairead Meehan Cup Final which takes place in Caltra on the weekend October 4/6. Claregalway enjoyed a comfortable victory over an understrength Glenamaddy-Williamstown in Sunday’s semi-final.
