Boston Scientific, the worldwide developer, manufacturer, and marketer of medical devices, celebrated 20 years in business at its Galway facility recently with a family day and evening event for its 2,500 employees and their families.
The event, which took place last Saturday August 30 at the sports ground, kicked off with a carnival-style theme including giant games, inflatables, and magic shows. This led into an exciting evening of entertainment with fire breathers, magicians, stilt walkers, and music by The Amazing Apples, followed by DJ Ronan Purcell.
The 20th birthday has been a huge milestone for the management and employees, who pride themselves on the work they have done for the local Galway community.
