60th Clarenbridge Oyster Festival brings The Stunning, oysters and apples

Where can you get two days of world renowned fresh oysters, unbelievable live music, competitions galore, delicious food, dancing, fun activities for all the family, a Queen and much more — The Clarenbridge Oyster Festival 2014 of course.

Playing one of their only West of Ireland gigs this year The Stunning are coming to Clarenbridge for one incredible weekend of food, music and dance. Taking place from September 13-14 2014, this year’s 60th annual Clarenbridge Oyster Festival is carrying on the success of recent years.

The festival which was revamped last year with a new image, fresh music line up and tickets at prices has seen the same success again this year with tickets selling like gold dust, the 2014 festival is one major event on the social calendar not to be missed.

Throughout the weekend, sensational bands including, The Stunning, The Amazing Apples, The GalwayBay Jazz Band, The Bluenotes plus many more will perform in the festival marquee. A number of exciting competitions and events will also be held during the two day festival, such as the annual oyster opening, the Best Dressed Woman, Best Dressed Man, Most Stylish Head Piece which are sponsored by GalwayNow Magazine and Louis Copeland all on Saturday 13; with the annual Londis Family Fun Day taking place on the Sunday 14 with a kiddies disco, guest appearances from Mickie & Minnie Mouse, Kiddies fancy dress and lots of competitions to keep everyone entertained.
