Photography exhibition starts tomorrow at Town Hall Theatre

ROISIN NI Flatharta is a Galway-based photographer and vision engineer for TG4’s Irish language soap opera Ros na Run.

Her photography will be showcased at an exhibition at the Town Hall Theatre from this week.

After graduating from NFTC as the first Irish female chief marine engineer, Ni Flatharta spent years on fishing vessels, which started a lifelong love of light, sea, and landscape.

Her experience as both a lighting technician and vision engineer in film and television work laid a foundation toward fine art photography.

This exhibition is part of the Galway Community Pride Festival and starts tomorrow August 22 and runs for one month.

The exhibition launch is at the Town Hall Theatre at 6.30pm tomorrow and all are welcome.
