One of the most famous clubs in Galway, Skehana, face John Mitchells (Warwickshire ) this Saturday in Ballinasloe at 2.30pm in the AIB GAA All-Ireland Hurling Junior Club Championship quarter-final.
I remember playing Skehana as a young fellow with the Sylane hurling u-16s and minors. They were hardy men then and still are, and I cannot see John Mitchells having the wherewithal to keep them from reaching the All-Ireland semi-final.
