It is that time of year again, the much anticipated Leaving Certificate results have arrived and now the worry and impatience is building as students await the first round of offers. Students are under pressure to achieve CAO points, choose the right course, plan a career, and with that comes much uncertainty. The Learning Institute would like to reassure school leavers that your future does not have to be dependent on points. The Learning Institute makes the point that there are alternative routes to education and employment even if you do not get your first choice.
The Learning Institute is in tune with the needs of the current jobs market and has developed courses to equip the learner with the education and skills required to get a job. At the moment there are huge opportunities in the areas of childcare and care of the elderly in Ireland and around the world. Internationally recognised FETAC Level 5 and 6 certificate courses in early childhood care and education and community care (health care assistant ) are run on Saturdays from 9.30am to 4.30pm from September.
Founded in 1998, The Learning Institute is committed to developing high quality programmes to meet the needs of individuals in an ever changing marketplace. The Learning Institute is located at Sandford Business Centre, Bohermore, Galway. With bright, modern, facilities and tutors that are experts in their subjects the college has built up a reputation for quality and service. Its number one priority is students’ achievement and learner success.
