Western Motors is still firing on all cylinders

Western Motors is open for business as usual after a fire seriously damaged parts of the Ballybrit dealership on July 30.

Six units of the Galway Fire Department kept the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to the entire building, with two members of the Galway Fire Brigade team injured, but not seriously.

Managing director of Western Motors, James McCormack, says an incredible amount of hard work has been done to allow the garage to re-open.

“Our own staff have been absolutely tremendous, and the support we’ve received from customers and colleagues has been just amazing. We’ve been overwhelmed by all the messages and offers of support we have received,” he says.

“Western Motors would like to offer their sincere thanks to all of those who have shown their support and can assure their customers that their focus will continue on delivering the high quality of service they deserve.”
