Bonne année 2009 at the French Institute

Start your New Year à la Française by joining a French class in the pleasant, friendly, environment of the French Institute. Whether you wish to enhance your professional profile, prepare for your holidays in France, get good grades in your French Junior or Leaving Cert exam, give a head start to your children, or plan a new life in France, the French Institute has a course to suit you.

The institute offers small classes for adults, secondary school students, and children (ages four to 12 ) and is now enrolling for new courses starting the week of January 19. Intensive preparation classes for the oral French examination will take place in March; details of these classes are available from the office.

The school also runs French programmes in France for secondary school students. These programmes are particularly suitable for transition year students who can go to France for three weeks any time between now and summer. The first departure of the year will take place on January 25. Places are still available and enrolments can be made through the French Institute website.

The French Institute is Galway’s French language school located in the historic Bridge Mills in the heart of the city. Its director Brigitte Demay O’Carroll has 28 years’ experience in bringing the French language and culture to Galway.
