Galway Africans to celebrate Obama’s inauguration at

Galway Africans will be making their way to the US Embassy in Dublin to celebrate the inauguration of Barack Obama as the first African-American president of the United States.

The Afro Renaissance Committee, made up of Africans living in Galway with the aim of building bridges between Africans and the Irish, have received an invitation to the US Embassy which will be hosting an inauguration party on Tuesday.

The group is delighted to have been invited to the embassy and will be making its way to Dublin to join in the celebrations there next week.
