Galway Kettlebell Club won eight medals at the Leinster Kettlebell Championships in Ballinteer at the weekend.
Nine athletes from Galway competed on the day, coached by Sarah Smith, who took silver in the professional division, lifting a 24kg kettlebell in the long cycle discipline,
Maria Dillon won silver in the jerk 20kg and gold in long cycle discipline 16kg, while Suzi Doherty also won silver in the jerk 12kg.
Other winners were Celine King (bronze 16kg jerk ), Steve Killeen (bronze 16kg long cycle ) and Ed Holohan (Bronze 16kg snatch ).
