THE MIDNIGHT Union Band come from Kilkenny, but it might as well be Kentucky with a sound steeped in Americana, folk, and roots music.
Inspired by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Band, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, the quintet are Shane Joyce (vocals, harmonica, guitar ); Peter Flynn (piano, mandolin, guitars ); Cian Doolan (mandolin, guitar ); Brian McGrath (bass ); and John Wallace (drums, vocals ).
The band released their debut EP, Behind the Truth, in 2013 and have just finished recording their debut album, due for release in September.
