MONTY PYTHON’S London reunion show, André Rieu’s Maastricht Concert, and a West End production of Skylight will all be screened at The Eye Cinema.
Monty Python Live (Mostly ) will see the comedy legends - John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin - take to the stage to perform some of their greatest sketches. The show will be broadcast to The Eye on Sunday July 20 at 7pm.
André Rieu’s 10th Anniversary 2014 Maastricht Concert will be broadcast live via satellite on Saturday 19 at 7pm. The concert is approximately two hours and 40 minutes, including a 15 minute interval.
Bill Nighy, Carey Mulligan, and Matthew Beard star in David Hare’s Skylight, directed by Oscar nominated director Stephen Daldry. This production, from the Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End, will be broadcast to The Eye on July 17.
On a bitterly cold evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis receives an unexpected visit from her old flame Tom Sergeant. As the evening progresses, the two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.
