BOTH FLOORS at Electric will be taken over by the Bap To The Future clubnight this Saturday, with DJ Sunil Sharpe the main attraction.
Sharpe will be spinning techno in Factory. He runs the record label/shop Earwiggle, and hosts a weekly show on 2FM. In Electric’s Garden venue, Bap To The Future’s Lambo will be joined by Diskotekken’s Louis Scully, for a set of hip hop, r’n’b, and disco. Admission is €5 before midnight.
Meanwhile, tonight at Factory Get Boogie! will launch the first in a series of Thursday sessions, featuring up and coming Irish production talent.
First up is Donegal’s Nyt Bloomer, who is currently touring his much praised Old Toys EP. For his Get Boogie! set he will mix the bass heavy hip hop stylings of the EP along with new material. Support is from Belfast’s Eagle Shadow, Donegal’s Colpey, and Galway’s Welfare and Destitute. Admission is free. Doors are at 9pm.
