Metallica tribute @ Kelly’s

METALLICA TRIBUTE band Whiplash, named after the debut single from the LA’s band debut album Kill ‘Em All, play Kelly’s, Bridge Street, this Saturday.

The Galway based band - Martyn Weesjes (vocals/rhythm guitar ), John Cullen (lead guitar ), Keith Hughes (bass ), and Brendan Kenny (drums ), will play selections from the band’s classic era, which ran from 1983’s Kill ‘Em All to 1991’s The Black Album, including such classics as ‘One’, ‘Master of Puppets’ and ‘The Four Horsemen’. They will also perform the Ride the Lightning album from start to finish to mark its 30th anniversary.
