THREE AMERICANS, a Canadian, and two Irish people will read at the Over The Edge Writers’ Gathering in the Galway City Library, Thursday June 26 at 6.30pm.
The Americans are poets Nathalie Anderson, director of the creative writing programme at Swarthmore College, Philadelphia; Academy of American Poets Prize winner John Menaghan; and Quincy R Lehr, associate editor of The Raintown Review. They will read from their work.
Irish-Canadian Celeste Augé, and Ireland’s Ger Burke and John Walsh, will read from the anthology Over The Edge-The First Ten Years, published by Salmon. As well as reading their own contributions to the book, Celeste will read a poem by Sandra Bunting; Ger will read a poem by Jarlath Fahy; and John Walsh will read poems by Adam White.
All are welcome. The book will be on sale on the evening. It can also be purchased directly from www.salmonpoetry.com
