THE AWARD winning Dublin choir, The Mornington Singers, will give a concert in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church this Saturday at 8pm.
The choir, under conductor Orla Flanagan, will perform works by Byrd, Schutz, Lassus, Monteverdi, Schumann, Fauré, Vaughan Williams, Martin, Orban, as well as contemporary Irish composers Rhona Clarke, Seán Doherty, and Éna Brennan.
There will also be a performance of ‘Cantemus’, a new work written for the Mornington Singers by American composer Patrick O’Shea, who will also conduct its performance in St Nicholas’.
