International School of Make-up Artistry now enrolling

The International School of Make-up Artistry is currently taking enrolments for its full time and part time courses. These courses cover all areas of beauty make-up, from beginners to advanced levels, including day, evening, bridal, airbrushing, fashion make-up, and all the latest trend looks.

Students also have the opportunity to complete a professional photoshoot as part of their training.

The School of Make-up Artistry has been in business for more than 25 years and its trainers are highly experienced, with many years’ experience working within the industry, on all the international fashion shows such as Paris, Milan, and London fashion weeks. They have also worked on high fashion magazines, TV, and film, and are eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with the students.

Seventy five per cent of the course is practical based, and is suitable for adults of all ages. Students receive a MAC make-up kit, valued at €350, compliments of the school, when they begin the diploma course, and also have the opportunity to become MAC Pro student members, receiving a discount with MAC cosmetics alongside a variety of other cosmetic companies.

The school has placed more than 80 per cent of its past students in secure positions, in Ireland and abroad, and they now are enjoying careers as professional make-up artists, with some graduates from the school now working for leading cosmetic houses such as MAC, Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Lancôme, and Laura Mercier, in Brown Thomas Stores and leading pharmacies throughout Ireland. Others are working as freelance make-up artists, specialising in bridal, special occasion, and fashion make-up, while others are enjoying a career on TV, film, and theatre.

If you are looking to further your education and enhance your career prospects, contact the School of Make-up Artistry and choose from one of its many internationally recognised diploma courses.
