National interest in forthcoming O’Donnellan & Joyce auction

O’Donnellan & Joyce’s forthcoming auction on June 27 is attracting both national and extremely strong local interest. The auction will see 43 properties going under the hammer in the Harbour Hotel, and is an all-day property auction with registration commencing at 10am for the morning session and at 1.30pm for the afternoon session.

According to Anne Harding, auction co-ordinator for O’Donnellan & Joyce, there has been exceptionally strong interest in the family homes which are on offer, mainly from local people throughout Galway, while there has been enormous national interest from investors who regard Galway as one of the best places to acquire properties to rent, as it has a vibrant young population with a guaranteed rental income and property that has a much lower base rate than in Dublin.
