Thanks for the lift... Western Motors celebrates fifty years by offering ‘a lift’

Fancy arriving to work in the newest model Seat, or being collected from the supermarket in a classic convertible?

To celebrate 50 years in business this year, Western Motors has launched the ‘Thanks for the Lift’ campaign, which will give 50 members of the public a lift to a destination of their choice (within reason ) in a car of their choice.

To be in with a chance to win, log on to the Western Motors Facebook page, telling them where and why you would like a lift.

As part of the month’s celebrations, Western Motors customers will also be offered a complimentary mini valet as a ‘thank you’ for supporting Western Motors over the years. Plus, there will be plenty more events taking place throughout the month.

Managing director, James McCormack, says 50 years is a major milestone for any business and especially after coming through the worst and longest recession in those 50 years.

“ The business has been in the family since my father Jim McCormack founded it in 1964. We have grown under the wise direction of our mother Anne McCormack and in 2008 opened a second dealership in her hometown of Drogheda where my brother Simon McCormack is the dealer principle.

“ Both our loyal staff and our valued customers are the lifeblood of the business and we cannot thank them enough for their friendship over the past 50 years. Our priority has always been to work as a team in delivering the highest quality of service to our customers and we very much hope that we can continue doing that for the next 50 years. For now, we look forward to having a bit of fun with the 50 lifts campaign”
