Celtic reggae fusion @ Monroe’s Live

REGGAE, SKA, Irish trad, Latin music, American and Eastern European music, and Gaeilge collide in spectacular fashion in Belfast band Bréag.

Bréag, who play Monroe’s Live tonight at 9pm, were originally formed to raise money for Irish language schools in Belfast, are Irish speakers, language enthusiasts, and world music fusionists, with a passion for rhythm.

Bréag will be joined in Monroe’s Live by Jamaican musician Nathaniel Wynters, aka Natty Wailer, a contemporary of Bob Marley.

Tickets are €6 through www.monroes.ie or €7 on the door.
