AN IRISHWOMAN, an Italian, and a Canadian will read at Over The Edge in the Galway City Library on Thursday May 29 at 6.30pm.
Dimitra Xidous is originally from Ottawa, Canada, but now lives in Dublin. She was a finalist in the 2014 Malahat Review Open Season Awards, and her debut poetry collection, Keeping Bees, was published recently by Doire Press.
Duana Sala was born in Italy but moved to Galway in 2008. She published her first short story, Dear Diary, 1965, in the Java Writers anthology Infusions. She is currently writing a collection of shorts stories.
Galwegian Sighle Meehan writes poetry and won the 2014 Galway University Hospitals Arts Trust poetry competition.
