A night for Kathleen Neylan

A CLASSIC Rock and blues night takes place in Monroe’s Live tomorrow at 8pm to remember the late Kathleen Neylan and raise funds to support her daughter.

In February, Ms Neylan died when a fire broke out at her home in Knocknacarra. She is survived by her 16-year-old daughter, an only child who is now orphaned.

The ‘A Night for Kathleen’ is to raise some money so her daughter can concentrate on her education without having to worry about medical expenses and exam fees.

The line-up features Led Zeppelin tribute band No Stairway, who will perform ‘Whole Lotta Love’, ‘Dazed and Confused’, ‘Immigrant Song’, and ‘Stairway to Heaven’; and Stomping Ground who will perform songs by The Allman Brothers, Cream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Deep Purple, and Thin Lizzy.

Tickets are €10 from www.monroes.ie; Mike Duggan (085 - 8211158 ); or at the door. See Facebook.com/InMemoryofKathleen
