Mná Mná - a ladies night of song

MNÁ MNÁ, the night showcasing female musicians, holds its third birthday celebrations in The Cellar Bar, Eglinton Street, tonight from 8pm.

Singer-songwriters Martina Flaherty, Grace Kiely, Eileen Keane, and Tracy Bruen, along with folk-band Rivers and Crows will be in concert.

Grace Kiely performs her songs, often with a dramatic flourish due, in no small part to her background in theatre. Her influences are Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, and Ella Fitzgerald.

Loughrea’s Martina Flaherty writes soulful and melodic blues/jazz style music. She is currently working on a new album. Rivers and Crows are a Galway based folk collective founded by Emma Lohan and Stephanie Swanton. Connemara singer-songwriter Eileen Keane recently released an EP entitled Spaces.
