GALWAY MUSICIAN Billy Mulholland will be honoured with a night of ‘ song and craic’ in Monroe’s Live on Thursday May 22 from 8.30pm.
Billy suffered a stroke in 2003 leaving him unable to play or sing. The night will see friends and colleagues who played alongside him in Salthill’s Hilltop Hotel, take to the stage - Vinnie Mongan & The Restless, The Gold Diggers, The Rascals, The Charade Band, Jive Buddies, Shasheen, The Corrib Beats, Tradstone, and The Gamblers.
There will also be solo performances from Martina Flaherty, Carmel Dempsey, Pete Gilroy, Paul Gaughan, Maria Butler, Mairéad Taggery, Gerry Mulholland, and Madeleine Fleming.
