Galway kickboxer Paul Huish from Knocknacarra, who fights out of the Galway Black Dragon Kickboxing club, was in action in France at the weekend.
The multiple Irish champ took on French kickboxing champion Clement Bessaiah in a five-round international contest on the undercard to a professional World Title fight in Bordeaux.
The fight was televised by French channel Combat TV and Huish took a unanimous decision after a five-round war in front of 1200 French fight fans.
Huish now travels to England to take on current IKF British champion Liam Wells in the Casino Rooms, Kent.
